Fast Cure Garage Floor Paint Bundle

The fast cure garage floor paint bundle is ideal for customers who are looking for a rapid cure time and is great for jobs during colder months. You can return your garage to full service within 24 - 36 hours. This kit contains a quick cure primer & 2 coats of our quick cure epoxy garage floor paint, boasting a 4 hour cure time at 10°C. This rapid cure time allows you to complete the job same day, as opposed to our standard bundles which take up to 3 days.

Incredibly easy to apply the formula uses the highest quality epoxy resin proudly manufactured in the UK. All our resin products are manufactured in our West Yorkshire factory, offering high quality performance and durability. The bundle is offered in a great choice of colours, providing a stylish, high gloss finish to your floor. Our epoxy resin is incredibly hardwearing & is up to 5 x thicker than standard garage floor paints. 

Preparation:

Before applying our epoxy paint we recommend any existing paint should be completely removed if flaking or if well bonded abraded to create a texture. We advise the area be vacuumed before application to remove any dust or dirt. Preparing the floor mechanically is always advised (grinding) however if that is not possible please use our Etch and Clean. 

Application:

We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.

1. Pour 100% of your part B tin fast cure primer in to part A

2. Mix resin components together with a drill and paddle for 1 minute

3. Pour content in to a paint scuttle

4. Immediately begin applying your primer with an epoxy roller frame and sleeve

5. Use a brush around the edges for a smooth finish (a second pair of hands comes in useful)

6. Leave the primer to cure (around 4 hours)

7. Repeat steps 1 - 5 for your coat 1; fast cure epoxy floor paint

8. Leave the fast cure floor paint to cure (around 4 hours)

9. Repeat steps 1-5 for your topcoat fast cure epoxy garage floor paint

10. Leave the fast cure floor paint to cure (further 4 hours)

11. Return garage to service within 24-36 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the paint will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the paint from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes. 

 Pot life = Time to harden in pot following addition of hardener
Working Time = Time to apply product before becoming unworkable

• Please note direct sunlight may cause the coating to discolour, for areas exposed to sunlight we recommend the use of our Polyaspartic Fast Cure Coating.
• This product can NOT be split. Taking smaller quantities from each tin, even if measured correctly, may cause issues with activating. The resin formula is chemically manufactured to work efficiently and effectively based on the exact amounts supplied in full tins for parts A & B
• This product is NOT self levelling.
