Cost Effective Car Park Resurfacing

Resincoat Car Park Decking System is designed as a cost effective way to achieve a premium decked finish in a car park or vehicle storage area. The polyurethane system is used widely across the UK in service stations and public car parks. As with all Resincoat products, our system is designed in the UK by our expert team of resin chemists and flooring installers. Between our team we test, re-formulate and tweak our formula to make it the best option on the market for longevity and ease of installation.

Application Guide

Preparation:

As with any flooring product, the key is in the surface preparation. For the perfect, smooth finish we recommend use of an orbital floor grinder to smooth and open the floor before applying our system. You can affordably rent this type of equipment for companies like Speedy Hire or HSS Hire.

 

Once you have finished grinding your floor it's important to fully clean the surface to ensure it is free from dust and unwanted contamination. We recommend removing any previous coatings or line marking where possible, including existing parking bays.

 

Application:

We advise when applying this product the ambient temperature is at least 7°C.

1. Pour 100% of your part B tin in to part A
2. Mix resin components together with a drill and paddle for 1 minute
3. Pour content in to a paint scuttle
4. Immediately begin applying your paint with an solvent resistant roller frame and sleeve
5. Use a brush around the edges for a smooth finish (a second pair of hands comes in useful)
6. Once coat one has been applied leave 12-24 hours then apply second coat
